Linerboard is produced with a variety of finishes or facings. The most common is the brown coloured Kraft or Jute. The white facings are known by different terms such as Oyster, Mottled White, 60 Brite, 80 Brite, Solid Bleach, Temboard, Super White etc. depending on who has produced them.
For most purposes we refer to the brown facings as Kraft, our standard white as Oyster, and the brightest white as 80 Brite.
Corrugated board may be treated with a variety of coatings to to enhance its usefulness and appearance. They include:
These coatings may be applied to one or both of the faces of the board. Usually a minimum order of 25,000 square feet of material is required for coatings to be applied.
